Block superdispersants have very good dispersibility, versatility and stability due to their ultra-large molecular weight and synthetic flexibility, but the ash problem has always been a headache!
Tiger Additives has innovatively developed the Tech-598 Ashless Super Dispersant, a block copolymer-based super dispersant that does not produce inorganic residues (such as metal ash) under high-temperature processing conditions. This product is widely used in polymer materials, high-temperature glass inks, and electronic pastes. Its key advantages include environmental friendliness, material compatibility, and performance stability!
First, why strong dispersion and ashless cannot be achieved at the same time
Strong dispersion, no ash
The presence of metal active sites inherently conflicts with dispersion efficiency. Low molecular weight dispersants, while easy to volatilize, lack stability. Traditional dispersants, such as sulfonates, rely on metal ions (Ca²⁺, Zn²⁺) for adsorption sites. However, the Tag Tech-598 ash-free block super-dispersant uses pure organic structures (such as amine and carboxylic acid groups) to anchor particles on their surfaces. The organic functional groups must precisely control the charge density and molecular chain length to match the surface chemical properties of different particles, such as ceramic powders and silicon carbides; otherwise, it can lead to a decrease in dispersion efficiency.
2. Application scenarios recommended by Tech-598
1. Add Tag Tech-598 ashless block super dispersant to high temperature glass ink and ceramic slurry to ensure uniform distribution of the slurry during high temperature firing and avoid color difference or cracking.
2. In the electronic ceramic slurry (such as dielectric material), Tag Tech-598 ashless block super dispersant is used to reduce the viscosity and prevent dielectric loss caused by metal pollution.
3. Processing of polymer materials: In the mixing of plastics or rubber, Tag Tech-598 ashless block super dispersant can evenly disperse various fillers (such as carbon black and nano clay), improve the process convenience and enhance the mechanical properties
3、Advantages of Tech-598
1. Zero ash residue, improve product purity
Compared to traditional dispersants like metal sulfonates and organic soaps, which leave behind metal oxide ash after high-temperature combustion, potentially affecting the structural strength of ceramics and the chemical resistance of high-temperature inks, the Tag Gray-Free Dispersant Tech-598 uses special material monomers. After high-temperature decomposition, it only produces gases or volatile substances, thus preventing ash contamination of materials such as precision ceramics and electronic components.
2. Excellent high temperature stability
The Tech-598, a non-ash dispersant for TIG welding, is particularly suitable for high-temperature processes, such as plastic products, ceramic sintering, and high-temperature glass inks. It maintains dispersion and stability even under high flow conditions, decomposes and volatilizes over 600℃, preventing ash from causing material structural defects and ensuring the color intensity as much as possible. This is achieved through the use of the latest synthesis technology, which ensures that the molecular weight distribution PD of Tech-598 is ≤1.2.
3. Environmental protection and compliance
In line with increasingly stringent environmental regulations (such as EU REACH, China GB standards), Tiger’s ash-free dispersant Tech-598 does not contain heavy metals (such as zinc, calcium, barium), reducing the harm to the environment and human body.
4. Enhance material compatibility
In electronic or ceramic pastes, the Tagg ashless dispersant Tech-598 does not introduce metal ion contamination and ensures the electrical insulation (such as MLCC multilayer ceramic capacitors) or optical properties (such as transparent conductive films) of the material.
