This solution can effectively solve the problems of poor curing such as sticking, poor adhesion, and poor impact resistance on the surface of the painted varnish of the coil, as well as coating defects such as glossiness, bubbles, and stripes.

▶  Two component polyester amino matte oil

Compared with glossy oil, the presence of matte powder can enhance the foam stability of coil coatings. Matte powder (such as silica) is a porous particle with a large specific surface area and adsorption capacity, which can stabilize the bubble film and prevent the smooth removal of bubbles inside the paint film, thereby forming “prickly heat” on the surface of the paint film.

Tech-426F additive can better destroy the bubble liquid film caused by matte powder, reduce the occurrence of stable bubbles, and when combined with high-performance catalysts, adhesion promoters, and leveling agents, can significantly reduce white spots, improve the alignment performance of matte powder, and enhance the mechanical strength of coatings. This scheme has excellent thermal stability.

▶ Polyester white paste

The main issues with roll white paste are related to whiteness, yellowing, and paint film performance, which are not only related to the titanium dioxide itself, but also the selection of dispersants is crucial. The surface of titanium dioxide (such as alumina treatment) is negatively charged and alkaline. Polyether carboxylic acid surfactants and polyether phosphoric acid surfactants commonly used for dispersing titanium dioxide have poor stability at high temperatures, but their high temperature resistance can be significantly improved by polyester modification (such as Tech-5366)

Tech-5366 dispersant endows polyester white paste with a ‘high solid, low viscosity’ state, and its steric hindrance ensures almost no change in viscosity and glossiness before and after thermal storage testing, resulting in excellent thermal stability. Tiggo additives minimize the yellowing problem of the dispersant itself caused by benzene ring/naphthalene epoxidation, unsaturated bond breakage, and nitrogen-containing group decomposition.

▶ Polyester Iron Oxide Color Paste

Polyester iron oxide baking paint combines the durability of polyester resin and the color stability of iron oxide pigments, but it is prone to problems such as floating color, storage/high-temperature curing loss of gloss, and post thickening during production and construction. For this type of powder, we still recommend using Tech-5366 as a solution. Its stability in wrapping inorganic surfaces at high temperatures is easy to handle with ease.

Tech-5366 does not contain PFAS, benzene solvents, or organotin. Its modified polyester long chain can build a thicker solvation layer, which can resist high temperature, shear force, and electrolyte interference by wrapping around the pigment surface to form steric hindrance, achieving stability (viscosity stability, glossiness stability, anti floating color stability).

Polyester Black Paste

Polyester black paste needs to maintain small particle size, high blackness, high glossiness, and wetting of powder under high temperature curing conditions. Its anti floating color performance is also one of the key considerations. For coil coatings with high requirements, Tech-6202 super dispersant is a good choice

Formula testing shows that Tech-6202 exhibits excellent blackness, glossiness, and thermal storage stability, as well as good anti floating performance, making it very suitable for coil coating systems with high requirements for black color paste performance.

Polyester Blue Paste

Compared with carbon black, although the surface properties of phthalocyanine blue are similar, the requirements for pigment dispersion and encapsulation are also different due to the different particle sizes. Larger phthalocyanine blue requires the super dispersant to have more anchor points to prevent the dispersant from desorbing from the phthalocyanine blue pigment surface caused by molecular motion at high temperatures

Using Tech-5041 super dispersant to stabilize phthalocyanine blue and effectively prevent pigment flocculation. Formula testing shows that there is no loss of gloss or significant thickening of the slurry before and after thermal storage, demonstrating excellent stability.

Polyester Yellow Paste

PY139 yellow pigment exhibits excellent weather resistance. As an isoindolinone type pigment, its molecular structure is larger and more rigid compared to other pigments, with high surface energy that is not easily wetted. Unlike the large π bonds that anchor blue black pigments, dispersing Y139 requires more types of anchoring groups on the dispersant chain segments

Formula testing shows that using Tech-5350 super dispersant to stabilize PY139 yellow can effectively reduce the occurrence of slurry loss of gloss and post thickening. Both before and after thermal storage show excellent stability
