News Category: Company News

Block hyperdispersants have excellent dispersibility, versatility, and stability due to their ultra-high molecular weight and synthetic flexibility, but the issue of ash content has always been a headache!
The innovative preparation of block Tech-598 Ashless Super Dispersant by TAIGA additive is a type of block super dispersant that does not produce inorganic residues (such as metal ash) under high temperature process conditions. It is widely used in the fields of polymer materials, high-temperature glass inks, and electronic pastes. Its core advantages lie in environmental friendliness, material compatibility, and performance stability!

1. Why strong dispersion and ash free cannot be achieved simultaneously

There is an inherent contradiction between the absence of metal active sites and dispersion efficiency. Low molecular weight dispersants are volatile but have poor stability, while traditional dispersants (such as sulfonic acid salts) rely on metal ions (Ca ² ⁺, Zn ² ⁺) to provide adsorption sites. However, TAG Tech-598 ash free block hyperdispersants require pure organic structures (such as amino and carboxylic acid groups) to achieve particle surface anchoring. Organic functional groups require precise control of charge density and molecular chain length to match the surface chemical properties of different particles (such as ceramic powders, silicon carbon materials, etc.), otherwise it may lead to a decrease in dispersion efficiency

2. Application scenarios recommended by Tech-598

Adding Tech-598 ash free block super dispersant to high-temperature glass ink and ceramic slurry ensures uniform distribution of the slurry during high-temperature firing, avoiding color difference or cracking.

②
In electronic ceramic slurries (such as dielectric materials), TAG Tech-598 ash free block super dispersant is used to reduce viscosity while preventing dielectric loss caused by metal contamination

③
Polymer material processing: In plastic or rubber mixing, TAG Tech-598 ash free block super dispersant can uniformly disperse various fillers (such as carbon black and nanoclay), improving process convenience and mechanical propertie

3.  Advantages of Tech-598

① Zero ash residue, improving product purity
Compared to traditional dispersants such as metal sulfates and organic soaps, metal oxide ash remains after high-temperature combustion, which may affect the structural strength of ceramics and the high-temperature ink resistance. TAIGA ash free dispersant Tech-598 uses special material monomers, which only generate gases or volatile substances after high-temperature decomposition, avoiding contamination of materials (such as precision ceramics and electronic components) by ash

②  Excellent high-temperature stability
The ash free dispersant Tech-598 is particularly suitable for high-temperature processes (such as plastic products, ceramic sintering, high-temperature glass inks, etc.), maintaining dispersion and stability under high flow dynamics. It decomposes and evaporates non structurally at temperatures exceeding 600 ℃, avoiding material structural defects caused by ash content and ensuring color brightness as much as possible. This relies on the use of the latest synthesis technology to ensure that the molecular weight distribution PD of Tech-598 is ≤ 1.2

③  Environmental Protection and Regulatory Compliance
Compliant with increasingly stringent environmental regulations such as EU REACH and Chinese GB standards, the ash free dispersant Tech-598 does not contain heavy metals such as zinc, calcium, and barium, reducing harm to the environment and human health.

④  Enhance material compatibility
In electronic or ceramic pastes, the ash free dispersant Tech-598 does not introduce metal ion contamination, ensuring the electrical insulation (such as MLCC multilayer ceramic capacitors) or optical properties (such as transparent conductive films) of the material
