Tech-: Model prefix for the TAIGA ADDITIVE product series.
Surface additives play a special role at interfaces such as solid-liquid and gas-liquid. Surface additives can reduce interfacial tension and improve spreadability by migrating in a specific direction to the coating surface, while simultaneously regulating the surface tension gradient to suppress the Marangoni effect caused by solvent evaporation. For example, wetting and leveling agents promote excellent substrate wetting and film leveling during application and film formation, eliminating surface defects such as craters, orange peel, and pinholes. Compared to traditional surface additives, silicone surface additives offer greater flexibility in molecular structure design, stronger interfacial migration capability, and lower surface tension. Their molecular chains contain polyether or reactive groups, providing exceptional leveling and tactile feel while ensuring good compatibility and recoatability. By adjusting the structure and compatibility of the silicone segments, a unique hammered texture effect can be achieved on the coating surface, while micro-crosslinked silicone microspheres provide enhanced scratch and abrasion resistance. Product models with “UV” in their names (e.g., Tech-UV2027N) are surface additives specifically developed for UV curable systems.Key Advantages
