Tech-220 and Tech-223 are relatively mild silicone surface-active agents that balance surface tension differences throughout the coating as the solvent evaporates, thereby significantly improving the orientation of the matting agents without causing foaming. The recommended usage is 0.2–0.5% of the total formulation based on the purchased form.

Tech-5010 is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive specifically designed for dispersing titanium dioxide. It provides excellent viscosity reduction, high gloss, high hiding power, and long-term storage stability. The recommended dosage is 1.5–3.5% by weight of the pigment. The formulation and chemical composition of Tech-5010 make it particularly suitable for solvent-free radiation-curable systems.
While developing a new type of solvent-free, radiation-curable clear topcoat, we encountered foaming issues during production and application. What product would you recommend for defoaming?

Tech-30881 defoamers are particularly suitable for solvent-free, radiation-curable high-gloss clearcoat systems. They provide excellent defoaming performance, have no adverse effect on the transparency of the paint film, and do not cause pinholes. The recommended usage of this additive is 0.1–0.4% of the total formulation, based on the supplied form.
There is a growing demand for the development of solvent-free, radiation-curable coatings with color pigments, but selecting the right wetting and dispersing agent for this purpose is challenging.

Tech-6013 is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive that provides excellent viscosity reduction and long-term stability in pigment dispersion, while also improving tinting strength, transparency, and gloss. Due to its broad compatibility, it can be used with a wide variety of common oligomers and monomers. The recommended usage is 2.5–8.0% (solid-to-solid) for inorganic pigments and 15.0–60.0% (solid-to-solid) for organic pigments or carbon black.

Tech-9035 is an associative, medium-shear thickener specifically recommended for adjusting the in-can viscosity of clear and pigmented water-based wood coatings. The performance of these rheological additives is not affected by pH and has no adverse effect on the gloss and transparency of the final coating system. The recommended usage is 0.3–2.0% of the total formulation based on the supplied specification.
